You asked so here I am, delivering. A faithful Q & A for the many questions your hearts desired. I’m an indecisive person for most things so hopefully I answered your questions in the slightest bit. Let’s do this.
If you could live in a different country, where would it be?
I would definitely want to live in Italy. I’ve never been but I just adoreeee Italian everything. The lifestyle, the food, the fashion, the passion. It’s a goal of mine to live there at some point of my life.
What’s a weird talent you have?
Oh, I have many. I can touch my tongue to my nose. I can balance five spoons on my face. It’s quite a sight to see.
Whats your earliest memory?
My earliest memory might be a time where I was climbing up one of those 90’s entertainment centers that were so huge and bulky – similar to this bad boy, and it fell on top of me. I just so happened to be right in a little center that luckily had nothing in it so when my family heard the sound of crashing, my little two year old head popped out of the area. That or having to receive the heimlich maneuver by my sister because I choked on a life saver. Quite ironic. I was a mess. (I have choked on life savers TWICE in my life now)
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Just one?! Hmm. I’d say to cherish the feeling of having nothing to worry about and enjoy more time with family. I’d also tell myself to stick to my goals for the things I love and eat more candy because BABY Stella had no clue her metabolism would fall apart at eighteen.
If you could go anywhere with anyone, who would you bring and where would you go?
Iceland, Morocco, Italy and the Bahamas are top on my list right now. I’d bring my boyfriend, Eric, and pup!
Do you take vitamins, if so what are they?
I love this question! I take probiotics in the morning, I take this multi vitamin pack, a B Complex pill, and Biotin for my hair and nails. I also take a woman’s vitamin and a few other personal ones specifically for body and deficiencies. Being vegan also requires me to take more because I get anemic when I’m not taking supplements.
What keeps you motivated?
Truthfully, I don’t like not doing things. I get anxiety and really stressed out when I feel stagnant so I either have really long talks with people who inspire me, read books (this and this are great for motivation), work out or go to church!
What futuristic item do you wish your clothing or accessories could do?
This isn’t clothing or accessory related but I’d definitley benefit from something that simueltaneouly took off all my make up, brushed my teeth and brushed my hair so right when I get home I could get straight into bed and not worry about a thing. Clearly I’m a tad bit lazy. OH well.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is so hard. Before turning vegan I would say sushi. But if calories and healthiness didn’t matter, I think it’d be pasta, pizza and wine. Italian food is just my favorite, I could probably eat it every meal. That or ramen. I’m getting hungry all of the sudden.
One make up product you can’t walk out the door without?
Benefits lip tint, I literally use it all the time. It makes my lips chapped but I refuse to stop using it. Pretty sure that’s the definition of insanity… But also my two other make up needs when I leave are mascara (and a eyelash curler) and brow gel. I go most days only wearing that. Over sunscreen, obviously. It’s important to give your skin a break from make up!
Favorite movie and album in 2017?
PHANTOM THREAD. I just loved everything about it. Paul Thomas Anderson is such a great director. Jonny Greenwood, one of the guitarist from my favorite band Radiohead, scored it and the acting was just incredible. It was based around a couples love story. It made me feel very warm and fuzzy and confused and scared. So pretty much depicts love in a nutshell. Favorite album may have been DAMN. by Kendrick Lamar. I was quite obsessed with that album and listened to it nearly every day for a good few months.
Whats your worst habit?
I procrastinate a lot. I also just fling clothes around while I’m getting dressed which makes an absolute mess (I’m obviously great to live with). Most nights I forget to charge my phone so I wake up to important missed calls and text messages because I’m obviously sooo popular… kidding, if you can’t tell. I also have a terrible habit of peeling gel nail polish off my nails once they start lifting. I could go on and on and on and on…..
Would you rather explore space or the bottom of the ocean?
This is so hard. I’ve sat here contemplating my answer for too long now. If safety was 10000% guaranteed I’d maybe go to the bottom of the ocean and discover a bunch of unknown crazy species and make friends with them. But then again, SPACE, PLANETS, ALIENS!! I truly don’t know. I probably shouldn’t even be including the question because I hardly answered it. BOTH.
What’s your favorite holiday?
HALLOWEEN. Obviously. Christmas follows very close behind it though.
What’s one of your favorite parts being a woman?
Having the capacity to spread femininity, strength and compassion when other can’t is a beautiful thing. I admire all the women in my life who hold themselves so elegantly but with fierce resilience. I love being a woman. We kick ass. Don’t worry men, I still love you too.
Hope you enjoyed this! And I hope you enjoy the photo of Ruby judging whoever doesn’t read my blog. x
