Heat AND make up… never really the best mix but sometimes you just have to do it. Every day at Coachella I would absolutely dread putting on make up, especially because we were camping and the heat was pretty much constant, even though we had air conditioning in our tent (GLAMPING ALERT!). Coachella was the absolute best time ever, regardless of the weather. I’m already having post Coachella depression… help. Anyway, I did a poll on Instagram and it was clear you guys wanted the list of my Coachella make up so yet again, here you go!
I use the Hourglass foundation. I’ve been using this foundation for a long time now because it’s feels light on my skin but offers a good amount of coverage. I just started using this Too Faced primer which worked wonders while I was festivaling it up. I’ve also been using Laura Mercier for both concealer and powder for the past year or two and they’re my favorite products for face. Once I start to love a product, I stand by it for a long time.
Next I use this Bare Minerals bronzer for my eyes (if i’m not doing glitter) and for my cheeks. It adds such a great light color to my face and it works perfectly for natural looks. I added the Too Faced Sun Bunny bronzer to add some more color, I mean Coachella you can go all in so why not! And then ALL of the highlighter. Yes, I mean all of the highlighter. I’m obsessed with a dewey brozney face so all of these products add to the perfect summer look. Also, do not forget SUNSCREEN. I’ll always stress this because of my fear of skin cancer and sun marks. It’s so important to always put sun screen on (I suddenly feel like my mother) when you go outside. Any kind of sunscreen works, I used this for my body and the Kate Somerville sunscreen for my face.
I’m obsessed with the Better Than Sex mascara because you can keep adding it on without it ever getting clumpy and it makes your lashes look long and full which is something we all want, no? The Tom Ford tinted brow gel is great because you can use it without having to fill in your eyebrows in if you’re not feeling a full look. I use the Chocolate Brownie pencil to fill it in when I’m really doing it all up. The Touch In Sol is my favorite glitter eyeshadow. It’s so easy to put on and actually stays put. I was so shocked that it actually endured the heat so well and hardly moved or smudge. It’s a definite necessity festivals.
I love these products so I hope you decide to give it a try! I tend to always use the same things for a long time so these are the products I use with or without festivals. These products have been great to me and I haven’t noticed any irritation or breaking out of my skin since I’ve been using it! Leave me some of your favorite festival make up products so I can try them out!
